Melbourne Bengali Association (MELBA) is a community formed by a group of like-minded people who have come together to represent and foster Bengali culture and traditions in Melbourne. This is a not-for-profit cultural establishment that has been set up with the simple aim of creating a common platform to celebrate Bengali festivals and events.
MELBA encourages you to participate in its activities with enthusiasm. We believe in commonness and greatness of people to go above money and politics.
The goals of the Melbourne Bengali Association are:
- To organize cultural events and social activities in Melbourne which provide exposure to the culture, heritage and traditions of Bengal.
- To promote and sustain religious, charitable, cultural and literary activities on behalf of the Bengali community.
